Youth Ministry Positions
Youth Worker: St Marks Anglican Church ( 1.5 days a week )
St Marks seeks a passionate disciplers for our Youth ministries-- two positions available. The role focusses on young people of High School and upper Primary School ages (Years 6-8). It also involves leadership of our teams for 'The Ark' Youth Group (Fridays 6-8pm) and our Sunday Morning programs for Junior High Schoolers. The role may also include involvement in "After D'Ark" (Fridays from 8pm).
Desireable Criteria:
- Ability to express a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord;
- Experience in Youth and Children's Ministry in a local church context;
- A commitment to the biblical gospel and it's work in young people's lives;
- Demonstrated ability working with a team of leaders.

Ministry Coordinator
(permanent part-time: 15-20 hours per week)
We are seeking a ministry-minded Christian to work with our ministry team in coordinating the various ministries of our church, as well as attending to the daily administration of the church office.
The person we're looking for will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability with marketing, event management and basic bookkeeping; will be competent with the use of computers; and will be able to demonstrate initiative and creativity. This is a position for a self-starter seeking to serve a growing ministry!
This role would be ideal for someone who is available 3 or 4 days per week during school hours (18 hours total); this is open to negotiation. Remuneration: $21,458 pa + statutory superannuation. This position is located in our Avalon church office and will report directly to the Senior Minister.
