Pastoral Care
Jesus said that people will know we are Christians by our love (John 13:35). Our Pastoral Care Committee coordinates the ongoing support needs of our church community. Areas of pastoral care and support include:
- Supplying meals to families or individuals who are in need; ie sickness in the family, when there is a new arrival to the family, when there is a bereavement, etc.
- Practical support such as taking people to medical appointments for ongoing treatment or giving assistance with accessing public services. Babysitting for events held at the church, to allow parents of young children to attend.
- Visitation Coordinator visits members of the congregation, at times of sickness, hospitalisation and inability to attend church for any reason.
