We want to assist all people in knowing how great is God's love for us, and the blessings that flow from following and obeying Him. We have a heart for all people irrespective of age, race and creed.
We seek to equip our members to stand on the firm foundation of the good news of Jesus and to play an active witness in the wider community.
We yearn to see the Peninsula richer for the contribution St Mark's and St David's makes to it, and that we will be known by our faith and love.
We seek to provide nurture for one another through the variety of Sunday meetings, Home Groups and Prayer Groups that meet through the week.
Here is a quick summary of what we believe :
These simple summary points seek to show that our standard of faith is the historical Christian gospel, made clear in the Bible. This has in the past been usefully set out in the Apostles and Nicene Creeds, and in the 39 Articles of Christian Religion . These benchmarks are to be understood within the framework of their own particular historical contexts and use of language and are always subject to the clear meaning and intent of the Bible.
When talking about such important issues as the content of our belief, sometimes we need more details than creedal statements can give. We have found that the best way to bring about this clarity, whenever possible, is talk in person. If you have particular questions that you would like clarified we would be delighted to meet with you and discuss your questions.
